I'm not in favour of it.
Right to protest.
One protest that wasn't a good one shouldn't shape laws.
Too easy to orchestrate a bad protest and bring in draconian laws to distort reality
Let's not forget that the guards may say today that they can't take the batons out for groups of people breaking existing breach of the peace laws*, Tony Holohan got them to do just that to groups of young people for congregating outdoors with a tweet.
There's a push on right now for Holohan's reputation to be polished up, no doubt to lube him up for his next public sector job. Watch this space.
