Pep must be laughing after today, he went into this weekend a point behind the two challengers and ends it 2 pts ahead of them. All any team can ask for is to have their fate in their own hands.

I would agree with what paul merson is saying after the game. Never change a winning team unless you have to. Arsenal had no sub to bring on today to influence or change the game. Is trossard better when he's brought on as a sub? Cant understand why arteta didnt start jorghino.

Oh yeah, one game nearer the end of the season.I think Moyes has decided not to seek a new contract and will leave at the end of the season so yes my glass is half full

And even if they do then who’s going to take points off city? At the moment the 4 in a row is on imo but we'll see what happens. I'd say today’s defeats will take alot mentally out of liverpool and arsenal.

He could not have asked for much more other than goal difference with arsenal been further eroded. I think he will be happy that their position is clear win all their games and they are champions again and he will be surprised to find himself in that position tonigjt. I think in his ideal world he would be coping with either arsenal or Liverpool but not both. Keep believing

So if he does go then who would you like to see getting the job? Would bert be intersted in it, ha ha. What about graham potter? Dont hear much about him now. Or maybe eth would leave one utd for another one.

I would like to see somebody appointed who would over time adapt the team back to trying to play possession based football.

Credit has to be given to Moyes for improving the teams average end of season position in the league and winning a trophy. How even the means are no longer justifying the ends from an entertainment perspective for the supporters or financially for the owners.

A bigger issue is the squad he leaves behind which is the smallest in the league and the second oldest. It is a squad honed and recruited by him with a defensive mindset trained to play low block counter attack football only so will need major surgery

Chelsea v everton tonight. Is this game more important for everton? I know poch will want to win and get some consistency in his team but points wise i think it means more to everton. Will they get any from it though?

I'd say arsenal and liverpool fans arn't feeling great today. They're probably thinking of bob geldofs song, i dont like mondays. And some sundays arn't great either, lol. But at least they can look foward to wednesday and thursday, or can they? Funny how things can change over a weekend.

Great chance for beto but he puts it over the bar. Maybe he was offside anyway.
