    Brentford v spurs and chelsea v liverpool today. Should be two intersting games, no ivan toney or harry , so will there be any goals. Postecoglu and poch starting with their new teams. How will they both do over the course of the season. Will their be added spice to the chelsea pool game over the caicedo and lavia transfers saga?

    Alan shearer is 53 today. I wonder will haaland ever reach his pl scoring record.

    Probably unlikely, mainly because shearer took 14 seasons to get there, can’t imagine most players staying that long anymore. He averages 18.57 goals per season so maybe players will better that number

    Really hard to know, I doubt Haaland will stay in England long enough. Possibly going to Barca or Real at some stage .
    I think Shearers record is safe now for a long time.

    Brentford would seem to be in the best place of the 4 teams playing today, I think they win 3-1 .
    Hard to know where Chelsea and Liverpool are , I’m not expecting much from Liverpool.
    There definitely will be tension over the transfer situation.

    On Current form and if he did stay , and stay injury free , absolutely.

    Maddison makes his spurs pl debut. Son and richarlison also start. Brentford were very hard to beat at home last season. Will they be the same this time. I'll go for 2-1 to brentford.
