Responding to PMs

I get quite a few PM's on any given week, primarily asking about different ladies I've seen.

The majority of these messages come from new accounts (2-3 weeks old) and have no reviews. The odd time, I will get a message from an established member.

The tone and phrasing of the messages is usually very different. Newer accounts generally tend to send more frantic, impolite messages, will more established members certainly tend to show more manners.

That being said, I will try to respond to everyone if I can. However, I will admit, I am always more willing to divulge more information to an established member/member with a few reviews under their belt.

How do other members of EI respond to PMs?

My experience is similar - often the language of the newbie is such that there is no way I would encourage them to visit any escort, let alone one I know and like. I hope most of them are idiots who will never actually visit.

I do get plenty of sensible enquiries, and usually help, but I have a look at review and post8ng history before responding. Sometimes it is obvious that we are looking for entirely different things.

I PM Sofia (themod) often... basically moaning a lot...she's great...poor girl listening to my ramblings .

I have a few virtual pals I'll PM with (my pal Beemer last night...had to say goodbye to him and the auld one ).

Don't often PM for help, but Mrbean helped me with something Sunday night. I appreciated that.

Yeah regular guys I know from here I'd PM with no problem. Recommendations etc, who's getting fat, general gossip about members we don't like...you know yourself .

I have helped a few guys I didn't know who had maybe no reviews or very few. You wonder with some of them. One guy impressed me...he was staying in a hotel in Dublin and asked for help. With the type of girl he was interested in...he visited Iva off my recommendation. He had a five star review go up for her a couple of days later and he sent a "Thank you" PM to me saying how delighted he was with everything...I was actually chuffed lol! I gave him pub recommendations also including prices of pints lol .

Another guy looking for help badly...I will see what I can do.

I think I have helped with an awful lot of recommendations and have usually been thanked by good punters on the forum. I always tried to help .

I remember picking both Arya the mod's interviews...she asked me .

I ignore impolite PMs.

I am not available for PMs now as the saying goes..."Rockerman is currently not touring."

You are right in my opinion and this also reflects to messages of all forms even outside EI PM's. Tone and phrasing are everything and just being polite make a huge difference. I reply to PM's in the same approach as you. Keep it up.

I usually respond to pms, you can tell if it’s a serious enquiry fairly easily, don’t usually bother checking them out, I’m not sharing state secrets but I’ll help where I can, isn’t that the whole point of this place?
