Ever notice when you are in a modern fast food place, your trying to read the menu on screen and it changes.
Sensors combining face recognition, body build, phone data and purchasing history are working to guess what you might like to eat, and what you have a weakness for. This tech is in its infancy. But a guy working on such tech, tells me that the body build scanners are tiny, and when perfected, will be almost as accurate as fingerprints, as they combine your movements and gait.
The system was originally designed to boost sales but will be a useful tool to fight shoplifting in future, as once a suspect is identified to the system, security can be auto saved and staff can be alerted as soon as the suspect enters a shop. Any shop willing to pay to sign up.
It's even possible to program doors not to open for certain people.
I am aware of a small shop where some of this tech is in learning mode. There is a body scanner over the entrance door. Linked to that there are scanners that count the number of phones that drive past, the percentage that stop in the immediate vicinity, and the percentage that enter the shop. The idea is for AI to learn body characteristics linked to phones that it sees regularly and improve accuracy.
Definitely something to be worried about in future I'm afraid , I was a professional gambler for a living the last 5 years or so. Soon as I won I was immediately flagged now I can't walk into any bookies in the country and get a bet on. Have a friend that works in one of the head offices who told me they have facial recognition on the doors and I get flagged immediately wherever I walk in as a maximum high risk , 'do not take bets'. The technology is definitely there just a question of how it gets implemented in the future.
WHAT is it all going to be like in 20 years?! A guy who works in AI was telling me about chips for "smart houses", your house will get you up in the morning, remind you to take your medication, notice that you havnt gone out for a walk or done some something in your usual routine (the house, of course will be connected to your phone and car)and remind you/check if you're ok, it will order groceries, repeat medications, suggest recipes based on what's in your fridge . . . I think it's all a bit mad but he rightly pointed out that it will be great to combat loneliness or assist the elderly/disabled.
I find chat GBT very handy but it does spook me, what if AI realised that the human race is destroying the planet and has already been the cause of the extinction/threatened extinction of so many species, and decides to do something about it? What if it decides let's just give the Western World 2 generations to become completely dependent on technology and then just "switch off"??
What's spooked me is the sw who was detained while on a changeover flight in the USA, her face isn't online but an adult site had sold verification photos to the US government apparently, and if you try to enter the States and they suspect you have been a sw in the last 10 years, anywhere in the world, you're deported. Some old law about threatening to corrupt marriages and break up families!!!!!
Ironic, coming from the States, right??
Oh yeah, the good old USA.
Where you can sell a gun to anyone but not a little love.
I pay in cash everywhere possible and I refuse to go along with the whatever the latest thing is. Support small independent business an fuck the corporations like Amazon.
I only use them as a catalogue or a price guide.
I don't support Ukraine. Ireland is a neutral country. The fact you this here this so rarely is because our political class , both government and opposition and the media have been bought by globalists.
Fuck the EU. They push crap on their citizens in a very undemocratic manner with a woke snobbish attitude. If ever there was a time to rule our own destiny it's now.
I won't vote for any of these dirtbags pushing net zero or mass migration.
Sorry if that was a bit of a rant but it's all connected.

Serious answer: very.
Inside Europe we have some protections, mainly GDPR. Those protections are under constant attack, mainly from police forces and US companies who are trying to make sales. Outside of Europe, no protections really.
The most we can do is make it as difficult as possible to be tracked. Theres plenty of info available online, but it's getting more difficult and it requires a lot of discipline.
International escorts should be aware that there are companies, some you'll have heard of, some not *cough Palantir cough*, making huge $$$ selling facial recognition software to the likes of US Customs & Border Patrol. Those services explicitly include building databases of any kind of spicy worker, and they've been quite open about it. The face out days are over, unless you intend to stay in Europe.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it's better to be informed and adjust accordingly.
