Thread: Car insurance rip off

  1. Default Car insurance rip off

Got the renewal quote from Aviva in the post yesterday. A whooping €113 more than what I paid last year. Spent a lot of today shopping around and managed to get a quote from AXA near enough matching what I paid last year. Absolutely ridiculous how Aviva can up the price that much the robbing bastards.

They are all as bad as each other.

I remember paying around 2 500 € for my car with AXA.

Thought is was a great deal.

I had the same problem with Aviva this year... Allience are doing the same cover as I had (pretty much full everything) for about 30% less than I was paying last year! Give then a shout.

I am with Aviva and I got a very good quote from them last year., considering I lost one year with no claim bonus because the previous insurer didn't want to give me that year because I left them one month before to expire the cover I wouldn't leave them but they refused to put a second driver on my insurance so I had to tell them good bye so they punished me giving me no claim bonus for less years because ''i left before the cover to expire '' Robbing bastards this insurance companies
