Do not ever live in Longford. It's a kip, full of kn#%$**s and scum. It won't make you soft, it will just piss you off and make you hate kn**#4rs more.

Choose Lahinch, or Kinsale or Doolin. or Westport, or Barna, or Kinvara or Dingle or.. anywhere but Longford.

Dublin is okay for a while, but after a while it's a kip for a big city. It won't make you hard. You'll tire of it and of seeing so many junkies around the city centre. No hatred for them apart from when they are robbing bikes or breaking into cars.

Travel is good advice, try not to use it as a personality trait after you have done so.

Do it for the sake of doing it and enjoying it, not for bragging to people after.

Now TCM is gone. I used to watch old classics on that channel. I lost music channels because of Brexit .

I wouldn't mind I haven't been able to get through to speak to anyone in I'd say five years. They just won't answer the phone. My contract is just renewed each year automatic and there's regular hikes of €2, €4 etc.

Don’t Even get me Started !!

In all my time in Dub I’ve always been a Sky girl .

Now they have stolen a month of my life with canceled installation appointments , and

in end it turned out the Broadbamd service they Could’ve provided wouldn’t be able to run

two ( !!! ) devices at same time : ie. iPad and iPhone , tv and laptop at same time , etc.

At any given time I have 3 - 4 devices connected // currently to Three3 gadget .


Sky : I was out of country , asked a friend to be at my place for Sky install .

Appointment # 1. They called at 5pm saying their technician got ill . Rescheduled .

Appointment # 2. They didn’t show up , saying their technicians are too busy , overbooked for that day

Appointment # 3. I don’t know , but they didn’t show up for installation appointment

Appointment # 4. Finally dude showed up , refused to do installation . :: building manager was present ,

my friend who works in similar field was present , both said there’s no hinderance , there’s

no reason Not to install : dude refused with some cockamamie excuse - all this at 5pm .


My friend had taken time off from office job and sat there on four different days / the Whole day ,

for Nothing .

They wanted to reschedule , I said Are You Flucking KIDDING ME !??

The bloke I spoke with on the phone said their records showed that the ‘End User’ ( me ) was

not present for installation . Aghast ! The boldfaced liars ! I asked for last technician’s details ::

of course they cannot provide .

Asked more questions : their services ( even if they Had installed lol ) SubPar .

Their Sky App :: cannot get anything done . It’s not geared to Irish market anymore .

Even though I registered on their App with Irish info and location , on the App it’s all £££ ,

no option to put in Irish address to check on your order etc .

Don’t Bother with them . They be goners on this market .


Apparently it’s Virgin Media that’s covering best now ??
