With location being such an easy thing to process - would a ‘near me’ function e a good thing. Not to the point it identifies the building but it can outline the rough vicinity. I like the idea especially in a city that I’m unfamiliar with

Bad idea on a lot of different levels.
Discretion, safety, checking out the competition, everyone escort and punter gets to know local locations pretty quickly, even if your app doesn't pinpoint a building.
And who wants any form of tracking anyway.

Was walking back from the pub in Tokyo and there was this massive massage place (massive in size) near the hotel, so I decided to have a massage.
