    Default hey cartman

aww man we are not like the french at all.,and if it is true our republic is modeled on theirs we are truely fucked
their attitude to each other is so bad, synical in its truest form the french are
they are a race of people who actually boo each other, look at the soccer the other night for example.
they do not have our tenacity, our compassion, our enjoyment of life
    love their food though

I can understand the passion/emotional aspect of it, but a replay or having some kind of grudge against France is dumb.

The greatest moment in the history of the Irish nation since we became a free state was when David O' Leary sent home the penalty that sent us on our way to the quarter finals of the world cup.

    Sure it was on penalties.
    Sure it was against Romania.
Sure it was after a 0-0 draw and we had some of the lamest football imaginable throughout the entire campaign, that goal against the Netherlands really redefined the concepts of "long ball" and "luck".
Sure we drew every game, lol.
Sure most of our players were using the notorious grandmother rule, thrice removed.

But by god we did it, and we were proud of it. It's too bad we didn't get through at all again.

I don't think there's many males in Ireland who didn't really wish we would have gotten through.

It's not a joke no. I would have thought that was pretty obvious. Soccer is the one thing nearly everyone in this country (and many other european ones) likes.

Name something that's generally regarded as being a greater moment in Irish history since our liberation, or maybe you're just trying to be a massive prick.

You can't think of anything that has happened in this country since we became a free state that's more historical than somebody scoring a goal in a soccer match???

If you can't than I'm sorry to say thay I'm afraid you're the prick, not the massive one, but certainly the sad one..............
