Fernando Alonso did not defend. He knows his real race is with the two Mercedes.

Max Verstappen losing time. Complaining of problem. He suspects driveshaft, the same problem he had in qualifying.

Max Verstappen not really closing the gap. Nine laps to go.

Looks like it will finish like this. Good result for Max Verstappen from fifteenth to second.

At present, Sergio Perez has fastest lap. That means he leads the championship.
Possibly, you cannot serve your penalties under a safety car. That could put Alonso off the podium.

    All over.

    Sergio Perez (Red Bull)
    2. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) Takes fastest lap so still leads championship.
    3. Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) Five seconds ahead, so if he get penalty, will not matter.
    4. George Russell (Mercedes)
    5. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes)
    6. Carlos Sainz (Ferrari)
    7. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari)
