Something I find quite disturbing from that article, if these numbers are remotely true: "Less than one per cent of sex workers report crimes against them to the gardaí, compared to 81 per cent of the general population who have trust in gardaí"
1) It's scary to think how many times this must happen when so few sex workers report it..... which certainly was not helped by the law change.
2) Way too many people have faith in the Gardaí.....

I think the attack on two escorts in Killarney the man did not care or see them as human beings. Was he out to try and ròb them because he mistakenly thought they were easy tarģets who would not report him.
