Check out The Serpent. I watched it on BBC when it came out and it's pretty good. Based on a true story.

Also Bloodline is fairly good too

If you like adult animation there is a very short and beautiful series called Strappare Lungo I Bordi, from an incredible italian comic artist called Zero Calcare. It's very funny and very poignant. You can watch it in english on Netflix, highly reccomend.
