    Default Sunday TImes article

I see an article in today's Sunday Times about Escort Ireland. Fairly poor and unbalanced journalism overall, but with a few interesting bits! Obviously the author spent a lot of time lurking around here...

Top Irish tourist attractions in shock as Escort Ireland advertises them as meet points for ‘sexual services’

Activist Mia Döring called site reviews “dehumanising”
BRYAN MEADE FOR THE SUNDAY TIMES
A number of top Irish tourist destinations have been promoted by an illegal sex website as locations for“sexual services” and “massages”.
Escort Ireland, the country’s largest sexual services website, provides virtual and in-person sessions with women in towns across Ireland. The site also contains explicit reviews of women with whom men have had sex and allows clients to rate them out of five stars.
The site was launched in 1990, moved his operations to Spain in recent years when legislation was passed in 2017 making it illegal to advertise sex in Ireland.

Looks like "same old" Personally I think few people are shocked (except perhaps Enoch Burke et. al.). I think most people could not care less. Good free advertising for the site, however.

I dont see how it would be illegal, sure it's only advertising girls who want a bit of company, same as Tinder. Whatever else happens when people meet in private is exactly that - private.

Ladies here advertise time and companionship. EI is based in Spain so outside the Irish Laws juristiction, Miss Doring seems to have neglected this little fact in her utterly pointless petition to The Minester for Justice to have EI banned. She is up in arms over the review system (arent we all! ) but fails to consider that EI gives all us ladies have the option to opt out. Just another "save the prostitutes" warrior who couldnt care less about facts and has probably never once helped a lady genuinley in need. Yawn.

She has an anti EI instagram page but blocks any sex worker who actually tries to take part in the discussion Scared we are too intelligent for her!

E-I based in Spain but then UK sites too based outside Uk so they dont have that much tax to pay and out of harms way.
You not based in that country you do not have to follow their laws

There too many laws and too much rubbish and all these corrupt governments want is to control us and they make it out its for our own good.

my message go the Government is a simple one

I would be very surprised if the IT servers for the EI web site were located in Spain.

The law in Spain in respect of paying for sexual services is similar to that enacted in Ireland.

Have they actually brought in the disgraceful sex worker hating law that is The Nordick Model?

I think that despite all the bluster of The fake Socialists in power all they have done is bring in a law banning the explicit advertising of services.

Indeed the reason why the AHs here brought in that aspect of our sex worker hating law is to give a balance to make the laughable and blatantly illegal notion that a service can be legal to sell but illegal to buy seem passable.

Indeed the Oireachtas Committee which featured the current Labour Party Leader on the topic unanimously suggested that anybody be that a punter, sex worker or curious teenager or somebody looking for sexual health advice who downloaded an escort site shold be treated as the legal equivalent of a paedophile downloading child pornography!
Along with that making us a complete laughing stock in front of the whole world, if it had made it to the finish line, it would have been the greatest victory in recent times for child rapists as it would have the potential side effect of normalising them with regular folk! That's how Fooking insane that madness was!

Well any actual links to the new Spanish law?
