I think it was arsenal that I remember doing the double back in the 70s and it was a remarkable achievement, now it would probably be considered a poor man’s double as the expectation is champions league and title, howbtimes changebfrom when we were kids

I remember them winning the FA cup (I think ) had a real character of a manager, a baldy guy, think he passed away a few years ago, was that late seventies or early eighties ?. Best of luck to them today, a big ask but hopefully they won’t get a spanking whatever the result

Ya i think that was john sillet. He died in 2021. I'd say it could be close today. I see eth said the only time he had a full squad to pick from was the day they beat city 2-1 at ot.
