Actually doing something is worse. It's showing the far right that your worried about them.
You really want to do something to stop it. Tell the government to stop letting everyone and anyone in without checks or a plan of action.
What's the government going to do in month or so time when the hotels that are currently being used to "house" all these kick them and tourists season starts. Where Will all go?

It is good that it’s recognized that most people protesting over the weekend are in fact

false documents, or with no papers whatsoever .
There is a Difference between legitimate refugees ( I do Not believe that Irish people
of whatever class are protesting against taking in women and children escaping bombardment !) ,
and those who discard their identity papers before showing up at border control .
The government is failing its people in allowing undocumented unvetted Immigrants whose
identity Cannot be verified , to freely enter a ‘virgin’ country . Imo Ireland 🇮🇪 is Not prepared
to be able to deal with the issues that Will arise from such border leniency .
Further :
The article very cleverly refers to ‘migrants’ . Here there are no ‘migrants’ : they’re not transient ,
just coming through > “migrant” .
They are undocumented Immigrants . Imo That is the issue re immigration .
/ but , I am far from the best informed on the issues that prob go much deeper than what I can see ..

The article is written by a socialist politician, so take from that what you will. Unbiased news sources are hard to come by, every publication nowadays seems to have a leaning one way or another. The ditch maybe, maybe as close to centre as you can get but I could be wrong on that.
