Thread: Should I be on Prep before being with a TV/TS Escort?

  1. Default Should I be on Prep before being with a TV/TS Escort?

Just wondering if I'm being very irresponsible by not trying to get on Prep before being with TV/TS?

It's such a pain to go to the Gum clinic to get it.

In my one experience so far I gave and received oral without a condom and received anal with a condom.

Apologies for being such a noob :-)

If your worried go right ahead. Im just curious why you seem more concerned because its a tv/ts. You know everyone can have an std/sti right?

The forum is increasingly full of these ridiculous topics, where is the moderator to pick up the trash?

It was a genuine question. There's no need to be so rude.

Imo it’s better to err on the side of Asking something silly ,

rather than Doing something silly .

    Hi there Newbie ,

Catching hiv from oral engagement has never been documented , chances of it minuscule .

Using a condom for any and all penetrative act is Paramount - not doing so Would be irresponsible

and just plain dumb - if you care for your sexual health and safety : which you obviously do ,

    hence your thread .

If practicing Safe Sex in Every instance , your chances of catching something from tv / ts providers

is no higher than doing those same acts with a female provider .

Imo if you go on Prep you would be more likely to act / or accept acts that are risky .

If you are so worried about exposure that it would prevent you from enjoying your time ,

then : either Don’t , or as you say get the meds .

I think in this space there should Always be enough room for members asking health related

questions , and getting decent answers . We are here to enjoy each other , and be Safe together x

/ keep in mind : Prep protects only from hiv ; there’s syphilis , gonorrhea , Chlamydia , HPV , HSV , etc.

    Use a condom !
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

This is probably the most relevant, considerate and kindly response that I've seen in the forums in a long time.
    Nice one, Stepanie!
