As for invading Britain via Northern Ireland.
How does the Chinese or russian get to northern Ireland without the British US and rest of NATO knowing? You think they are going to be able to mobilise a fleet big enough to move an invasion force big enough to not only launch an invasion of NI but also main land UK with out any of NATO member noticing.

Hundreds of billions of dollars spent on defense, satellites watching, search planes etc and they miss an enemy fleet heading for straight British territory.
This isn't the 1940s. They see everything and no invasion force from Russia or China is capable of reaching this island without being intercepted by the NATO

I however, don't trust the Chinese leadership. Things are turning into a shirt show. The issue is that the West put too much trust in rouge states. They made the same mistake in the 30s because they thought they were dealing with rational, political leaders. Chamberlain could not envisage the kind of people he was really dealing with, nor can our politicians comprehend who they are dealing with. They will pay for being fooled and never learned anything from the past.

Russian China, Iran and North Korea are rouge states Indian and Pakistan's moral compasses isn't far behind them. The reality is that there are no good and bad in war. We can all do things that we wouldn't have dreamed of when our humanity is put to the test and our base nature takes over.

We will buy more goods from them.

I think on a personal level this correction is long overdue.

We have been wrong supporting evil governments like Russia and China for cheep fuel and consumer goods for to long.
