Tell the garda you have no idea of what they are talking about, and you are in a hurry to see an escort in a different location.

Unless they have evidence they can do nothing and what goes on behind closed doors just stay there.

Nope and really as long as your not an idiot and your not in a brothel which is raided while you are there you have nothing to worry about. Simple if you are nervous stick to girls with plenty of reviews, you can be sure they are not operating from a brothel

few years back got a call on my mobile from the guards to say they got my number from an escorts phone, I denied it but they insisted they call to my village, they interviewed me in the back of there car but I denied everything saying i was in the pub one night. left my phone on the counter when i went to toilet . the lads must have rang the number messing there was no second number from my phone so they were fucked, i used my other sim card to make the second call , it was scary though as they interviewing me in my village

Interesting, but wondering why they’d go to that length to meet you & question you just because your number was on a phone. Point being it’s not illegal to phone someone. And just because you’re phoned does not mean anything happened or even met the person. Sure could have been a misdial even, sorry I typed the wrong number.

You could have refused to talk.to them or offered to meet at a location that suited you.

That doesnt really make any sense. Are you sure they were cops? And you told them where you lived?!

Reason they rang my number and questioned me was they had accussed a married couple of running a brothel which they were denying, so they were now trying to get people who visited the place to sign a statement to say they visited that location and met an escort there, they said if couple accepted they were caught the witnesses would not be called but if they continued to plead innoncent the witnesses would be called to court to testify, i dont know how it finished up as i got no more contact from them but they definitely cops as i saw id etc,

Only time I've ever been stopped was years ago as I left an apartment at 4am, drunk after meeting an escort. Car pulls up as I leave the block, window rolls down, two guards asking what I was doing in there. Gave them a sob story about going back to a girl's place from a club, but now I was getting kicked out. They bought that and drove off. Ironically had I not been drunk I probably wouldn't have been so convincing!

I did recently see a girl, where as I was calling to get the door code, a Garda car drove by. If you know this area, it's a tiny slip road that runs 45 degrees to the main road, so the car literally drove a few meters from the door. That freaked me out, but did I turn back and cancel? Nope...being horny makes you throw caution to the wind unfortunately. Leaving that place wasn't fun, was convinced there'd be a car waiting outside. Thankfully not.
