Whats the law here at the moment? Whats the law with regards to confiscation of phones (where youve been messaging someone?), and whats the best course of action should you be stopped?

Unless they are wearing a Garda uniform tell them to mind their own business, if it is a Garda then tell them fuck all, name and address, they can’t go near your phone unless they suspect a crime has been committed so stay quiet, you were thinking of renting an apartment and was just taking a general look around, they’ll only hang you if you supply the rope, happy punting

More to Tommy's point, all there are going off of is suspicion. Only an admission on your part will land you in any hot water. If you are approached, which is extremely unlikely, just be polite, provide what you have to legally and stay quiet.

You'll be fine though, the boys in blue are more interested catching lads doing 31 in a 30 zone

More seriously though, any Garda activities around escorting, appear to be targeting organized crime/human trafficking.
