    Default Hell

So..... when your time comes, do you think you're off down to hell or not? I sure am. Not that I really believe in hell and heaven and all that jazz. Too many people have died throughout history (and continue to for that matter) all in the name of some god or other. I'm not religious nor atheist nor agnostic. I'm..... nothing. Cos they're just labels. And you know how I feel about labels (long story short: labels bad, labels cause segregation, but people are just people, regardless of where they born or what they're born as - the clue is literally in the name => HOMO sapiens, i.e. SAME).

Though the whole thing about the afterlife seems rather.... odd to me. What's the feckin' point of life like is there's an afterlife? Is life like the preview of the afterlife? Nah, sounds all like nonsense to me. Not necessarily the whole god shtick, but the whole idea of the afterlife seems dumb. At the end of the day, we're all essentially energy. And when we die, our bodies become the grass. And the antelope eat the grass. So, we are all connected, in the great circle of life.

    .....

Did I just quote Mufasa from The Lion King there? I did.... Well put it this way. Once we die, our energy spreads out across the land and merges with other energies into brand new forms. Or...... something such as that anyway.

Anyway..... I'm definitely off to meet the Devil/Satan/Lucifer/any-other-name that 'the fallen one' is generally known as, if I'm wrong. That's for damn sure. And you know what, I think I'll greet him (or her, like why is god and the devil always have to be male??) like an old friend..... And to be perfectly honest, I'm kinda looking forward to it. Read into that as you will!

    P.S. Barney, I don't hate you because you're a cunt. You're a cunt because I hate you.

^^ Gold star sticker to the first person who gets that reference.

Don’t believe in it, if it were true I’m sure somebody would have tipped us off at this stage, religion exists purely to keep the masses in line and to enrich the few, the game is up thought, who’s going to believe any of it these days?.
Eat meat on a Friday and it’s straight to hell then suddenly it’s grand, work away on the steak, total rubbish 🙄

You and I are nothing more than energy!
The shell you call a body is a form of the evolution of that energy but still a shell, you are still the energy!
Is it really more plausible that your energy can be destroyed rather than transform?
Did the person you were at birth or 20-30years ago cease to exist because you are no longer that person? or will that person only cease to exist in what you believe your death?
    All the conflict and the bitterness of life is an evolutionary trate;
sex, drugs, violence, love, hunger, fear, I could go on,

But you will still be the same energy long after,

I have no sadness in knowing that I'm a part of a bigger force,
for me all energy is connected throughout the universe,
    So to be totally honest!!
I don't know where or what is waiting
I just know that this body in this planet
    It is not my end.

My first thought was the Euthyphro Dilemma in Plato's Euthyphro. It concerns piety and the question: Do the gods love good action because it is good, or is good action good because it is loved by the gods? A classic example of aporia or perplexity.

Religious folks like to say that the universe required a creator and that creator is god, but when you ask ok and what created god, we’re told that god has always existed. If you accept that something (god) can have always existed, why not cut out the middleman and accept that something else (the universe) could have always existed. Therefore there is no need to believe that there is a creator of any sorts.

I believe that the simplest explanations tend to be the true ones, and god is a rather complex being, therefore I believe a simpler explanation is that god doesn’t exist, the universe has always existed and things just “randomly” happen according to the laws of physics.

Which is a roundabout way of saying that no, I don’t believe I’m going to hell, because I don’t believe there is any such thing or place.

But even if I did believe in god, the concept of humans going to hell seems to be a Christian invention and not one of earlier religions such as Judaism (where it is more of a place and process of cleansing), and before that, the Akkadian and Sumerian religions (where the afterlife is neither a punishment nor a reward).

So no, I don’t believe any of us are going to hell.

There is more than 1 religion.
There is always the argument, do you believe some power created the universes, if so that's called God
Tipped us off about the “afterlife” a higher power?..maybe, lots of things hard to explain but organised religion is just a huge con job which was designed to keep less inquisitive minds in line for 100’s of years

Hate is such a strong word to use Larry. If Goatboy were here he would have to give you a bit of a lecture.

As for Hell, I doubt that the Devil would let you in . He hates cats apparently.
