Thread: Environment and Climate Change

    Default Environment and Climate Change

What are peoples thoughts on these Environmentalists?

I think they are communists and that it is all about control rather than protecting the environment.
They want to take everything off the average people so that only the elite have stuff.
Under the guise of reducing emissions they want to take people's cars off them, stop them leaving an area, take their land etc.
A fast approaching climate change disaster is a tool they are using to get us to accept all this change so that we will own nothing and be happy.

Are you saying climate change isn't real and it's a guise they are using to take stuff away from people?

The climate is always changing. Always has, always will. We can't stop it. We might be contributing to the speed of it but they are overhyping the fear in order take control. Everytime there is bad/very good weather they are on the news saying this is climate change and that we should be very afraid and we should stop eating meat, give up farm land, have no private cars etc.

But if you are rich it's OK. Buy you billion euro private jets and planes and emit all the emissions you want.

To be honest I think it is real BUT for the most it has been used to extort money out of people by big business. Gov. has also used it as a stealth tax. Climate limited changes should have been phased in taking account the cost of living etc. Fuel poverty existed long before 2022. It's a cheek to tell someone that they can't burn coal etc. when the ones handing out orders are sitting in a heated office and don't have to worry about heating their homes. The way electric cars has been pushed on us will put a lot of people off the roads. Public transport may be fine in the inner cities but in rural Ireland how are people going to get around. There is also no thought for the disabled who can't walk or cycle.

The UK produces only 1% of the worlds emissions, I don't know the figure for Ireland but I would guess it's even smaller. China, India are yet again the rouge states behind the most pollution in the world. There is no point screwing your people over 1% and letting the biggest offending nation's off.

As for protesters, most are hippy anarchist's who use the climate as an excuse to miss behalf. If it wasn't the climate they would be crying about something else. I knew a middle-class woman, her mother and father both university lecturers and minted, she would protest on a phone box and her rich parents were the same. She grew up a spoilt privileged little girl who never knew what it was like to struggle, or worry about money yet she has the cheek to lecture everyone.

My short answer is the f#*@$#s should be batoned off the road. My phones predictive text inserted bayoneted instead of batoned the first time I wrote it, that would do just as well.

If these cop meetings were in anyway genuine efforts they'd be held by zoom. People need to speak up without fear.

Ffs Eamonn Ryan flew out to Egypt with over 50 people with him.

Did anyone see the two young ones who threw soup on a Van Gogh painting in protest?

    Fucking clueless brats.

Yes big nations need to do better, but when money is involved nobody gives a fuck.

Eamonn Ryan is a fucking clown.

The actions various goverments and groups take is nothing short of a scam in most cases.

Bigger clowns are the voting public , albeit its farcical that its meager 7% of 1st pref votes allowed the Green Alliance to rise from its wipeout like Phoenix from the ashes , to inflict its eco socialist inflationaty ruling on 100% of us .
The strange part of the political system is that ascendancy of Sinn Fein forced this three way coalition that was forced to include the Greens .
Ryan is obviously in self survival mode , lets hope at the next election by early 2025 he is not needed to form a majority coalition again.

The levy up North (yet another tax) on plastic bags is 25p
    but most shops charge 45p!!?
Why an extra income, I've never had plastic shoved in my face so much in my life!!

" Would you like a bag"
"No thanks I pay enough tax, I'll just walk out of here like a shoplifter"

but I don't see any reduction in
Packaging from big manufacturing at all!! If anything recently I've noticed the bags are getting bigger with the contents less, they must think we're all bloody stupid.

I believe climate change is real and that we have contributed without a doubt,
sure we destroy or pollute everything we touch.
