Bit off topic but love your profile stunning,
    Anyway sorry,
I always pay in cash but have noticed with a lot of bank branches and ATM's being closed, the banking system and I'm not sure but it wouldn't surprise me the government, or pushing people into online or card transactions, I have tried my best to avoid being pushed in this direction but was recently forced to start online banking because of bank closures, I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, we are all being pushed into digital currency so at some point a solution will need to be found.

It suits the banking system and it suits the government for taxation purposes, I really don't see a salutation. Other than paying in gold

Wont happen for a while yet. Aib tried to close a bunch of branches and remove atm's not too long ago. Country was in uproar over it. Lol.

Revolut is handy mind, but cash is easy got and i understand many may not exactly be totally above board tax wise. If i could get paid cash i know id be doing it.

Agree 100% Erica, cash is fundamental to us all and ppl won’t realise til it’s too late.

Ppl will give away their liberties for the sake of laziness, quite evident these days.

The way society is brainwashed these days , ppl will buy into anything imo.

    Everything is bullshit these days.

I got a poxy €200 one for all voucher from work. You have to register online, prove identity and download an app... typical load of bollocks these says...it's a fucking voucher? It wasn't like that before...I'm getting the missus to do it. Fucking ridiculous.

Oh they're after cash big time. I'll be in Stockholm in the summer and from what I can tell it's actually pointless even getting their currency they are so off cash apparently. No doubt they're moving away from hard cash.

I always said cash is king, but change will be forced.

I wouldn’t mind paying a little interest for security / piece of mind regarding anonymity. Could be handy for some people here who require deposits too , good to know. Thanks again Jessica.

Cash is king in my eyes but on its way out, most people haven't woken up to this yet, up North they're closing most of the banks and taking there ATM's with them, fools going on about how handy it is that they don't even need a card now they can just scan there phones!! It'll come to the point you can't even pay up your window cleaner in cash unless he's carrying a card reader, my bank was to send me out a card reader with my new card seriously what the Fuck is that all about!! Carrying personal card readers Fuck world is going nuts

Your employer ordered chip and pin cards , you could ask them to change them for two standard 100 euro vouchers that won't need registering
