Sweden is almost 100% card now. They had a bit of a problem last year when the network went down and nobody could buy anything for a couple of hours. But you know the Swedes, they're always right.
When cash is replaced by card, two things happen. Everything is traceable, and if you want to know what's important to someone look at what they're spending money on. And second you can be cut off at a seconds notice if you fall foul of the government or the banks. You can bet our buddies the nuns will be whispering in Fiscal's ear about writing that into some Nordic Model law in a couple of years. And if they don't, some busybody Christian rescuers from the US will. You know the way paypal closes accounts and keeps the money if they even suspect you're doing anything sexy? Imagine your bank doing the same.
Fight back. Use cash.
Actually, three things. Your spending habits become data to be bought and sold. If you don't know the possible implications of that, you need to.

even to get a revolut card you need to do a selfie and any of these transactions all are logged and can be traced back to you but thats the general idea.
its how they want it as more and more are using these methods now and not cash so the government will then say no need for cash and we have no one else to blame only ourselves and then we all be in big trouble.
Hard to be the readies, try to pay everything in cash if you can
Vodafone gone cashless in stores , I see staycity have done the same in some branches.
that has happened years ago in UK Vodafone stores, they wont accept cash only debit card etc, not good if you want to buy a payg sim for bit of fun, its all to keep tabs on what youre up to, I go in for the craic and go for one the dearest payg phone on display and say i take that, then he gets it all ready for me and says 950, debit card please, but i dont have a debit card sir, i say i don't want it and leave the store, all options should be available, its actually discrimination against Readies

Ah it’s all a crack down on the black/cash economy, it’s dressed up as clamping down on criminal activity but I think the taxman will benefit more from a cashless society than the legal system.
To be honest, I use cash to pay my barber who refuses to take credit cards and for escorts and that’s about it, like it or not this is the future unless we rise up and let’s face it we’re not good at that

its to monitor us and keeps tabs on us so we can get away with nothing as every single penny will be accounted for.
no one will rise up against it as people have got more lazy and want everything at touch of a button and we are all gradually being groomed into it so when it does happen not many will pass much heed and just accept it
when cash goes its the end of alot of great pastimes, its the end of freedom and life as we know it tommy lad
