2. CCP appears intent on Exporting their new misery worldwide :

Amidst 100s of Millions of cases / Day , now Xi has decided to allow

Chinese citizens to go abroad for the first time in Three Years .

3. CCP is no longer keeping official tally of new infections , nor of relevant deaths .

Mandatory testing is being done away with .

Within just over a Week’s time potentially infectious / ill Chinese people

will be allowed to leave their country unchecked to disperse over the World -

- taking with them whatever it is that is ailing them now :: according to

sparse information it’s a variation of Omicron - yet the symptoms are more severe .

I’ve been following China for many months now through their mortgage and banking collapse ;

Through the Zero Covid Policy madness and insanity of welding people into their homes and

allowing them to starve ; through the absurdity of ordering each citizen to take daily PCR tests

in crowded conditions ; through the inhumanity of the concentration camp like hospitals .

And through the ever rising protests that have been steadily escalating over the last months ,

in the end calling for the ‘death to the Dictator’ ; and I waited and watched .

I’ve been just Waiting , hoping for a miracle — what that might’ve been even I don’t know ;

but what is about to happen scares me .

And I ask : what are the World governments Doing to prevent this horrendous fiasco !?

Xi’s date is Jan 8th . Will we see some / Any travel restrictions from China !?

I think that would be the most basic elementary preventative measure atm .

I had to listen to a number of Chinese people early on in the Pandemic saying how well China had managed the Pandemic and how only China could have done so because of its culture

Not so much now and I hear v little , one who was particularly arrogant at the time, I asked him recently if he had availed of our vaccines, of course he had and wanted to bring his family over to do the same .

If a new variant does emanate from China they need to held accountable , for the record I give no credence to China manufacturing the original .
China needs a proper vaccination programme with effective vaccines, NOW

I've been one of the lucky ones if you could call catching Covid three times lucky, but I had no symptoms and no reaction, I only knew I had it because my Employer got us tested X3 days a week, some people have natural immunity I'm just lucky to have been one. I wore the mask all the time and have very good hygiene but because we worked through the whole thing once someone at work got Covid it spread like wild fire, knocking out full teams of 20 or 30 people at a time.

Never got the jab I decided to wait 6 months after catching Covid before going for it because I believe being infected gave me some natural immunity and the governments had promised to give away jabs to poor countries so thought why not let them have mine.
Every time I looked up booking a Jab I tested positive in work so never did get the jab in the end.

I hope we never go back to those bad days, wearing that mask all day was terrible, I used to lose my breath in the middle of a conversation at work, I'm still putting my hands in my pockets for it out of habit.

I don't see what difference it makes. There are 6bn non-Chinese in the world living restriction free right now. Governments have realised that restrictions are like trying to stop a leak with a sieve and there are two alternatives - an indefinite Chinese model, or best efforts vaccinate and move on model like the rest of the world has. Everything in between in the worst of both worlds - high social and economic cost, and very little effect on seasonal spikes and variants.

There's no chance of a lockdown. Inflation now is the cost of all that free money in 2020/21. Trying that again would send inflation to over 50% with wages keeping nowhere near that rate. It would be a massive destruction of living standards far in excess of what we see right now in what is already a bad global economy. There's no economic ammo left to do the same thing we did in 2020/21 again and real risk that any government who tries it will be taken down. I certainly won't tolerate it and I'm happy to be prosecuted and imprisoned if needs be. People aren't going to buy the bullshit that it's all far-right nutjobs who are anti-lockdown. It will be ordinary people who would resist in numbers the system couldn't handle. It won't come to that anyway due to the fact that there isn't the economic conditions to do the same.

But a lot of Chinese people will be quite fucked because of health nationalism and a refusal to recognise that the Chinese-made vaccines just don't cut it.
