    Default As I suspected.........

You completely missed the point on that........

So at the risk of boring the tits off the entire forum, I'll try to clear this up as quickly as I can.........

Do you think someone who, fully grown at 5 feet tall, with the best training, coaching, diet etc. etc. etc. that can be given to them, and with them holding nothing back themselves could ever set a world record time at 100m...........

    And if not why???

What would be limiting then and preventing them from achieving this???

the part your referring to being genetics is the one trait that the others can compromise for.The others being the right coaching, hard work, the right recoveryt, the right drugs and the right diet.Genetics is a bullshit excuse by ppl who are either too lazy to get the job done or have a low athletic self esteem.

    Genetics = bullshit excuse,

I didnt get in to this debate the last time , because to be truthful it has nothing to do with shagging escorts.

But as for genetics it has a lot to with it and its not a bullshit excuse

Bolt takes 40 to 41 strides in a 100-meter race. Walter Dix, the 5-foot-9 bronze medalist, takes 47.

Genetics decided that dix takes 47 strides

    Default Somebody pleaseeeeeeeeeee.........

Put me in the recovery position...........

    You just don't get.............

While what you're saying is admiradle and all, I'm afraid because of genetics, this person would be limited by physics.......

So the answer is no....... this couldn't person couldn't achieve this...........

A person at 5 feet tall, while being healthy, and assuming their height isn't a consequence of a disability, disease, injury etc., are this height because of genetics. And this will limit them physically, somewhat in strength, although this certainly can be overcome through training etc., but more so in stride, where a taller person will always have that advantage. Now I'm sorry, but there is no amount of training etc that can overcome that. That's just a physical advantage the taller person will have...........as a result of genetics..........

And before anybody says it..................I already know.......

but and heres the part you dont get. There are so many aspects to sprinting ,as can be seen by the initial post, that the genetic disadvantage can be made up for.If what your saying is true then all of the best sprinters would be the tallest sprinters as well and that isnt the case except for Bolt.

    Westside.
The sprint between Ferdinand & Torres yesterday, and previously between Ferdinand & Bellamy, shows that being taller doesn't automatically mean you are faster.

I never said that its westie said that it was because that Bolt was taller and that he had a longer
stride he was faster, there is much more to Genetics than height, u have muscle mass, lung capacity
etc just to name a few.
