You should go, even if its just to see what the place is like. There is a lot more to Amsterdam than the Red Light district and I love the liberated attitude of the Dutch.

This is why I like Amsterdam. There is a bit of everything for everybody. Usually when I say that I like Amsterdam people look at me as if waiting for me to say that enjoy smoking or something like that,nothing against it but it is not my thing at all.
I enjoyed the Van Gogh and Rembrandt museum, The Anne Frank's House and most of all the Dutch attitude towards tourists.
