No. It was well received by some. But just not what Jeff and the creators hoped for. The Tolkien estate is run by a Tolkien, who slammed Peter Jackson for making his films too much like the lore. He also said he wanted Sauron in season 2 to be like Walter White from Breaking Bad. Season 1 poor viewing figures was blamed on too many males being in season 1 of Rings Of Power, so season 2 will have all female directors working on it.Originally Posted by bananabox999
