    I reckon its because we now have a generation who grew up playing games so theres a market were as 10 20 years ago that market would of been considerably smaller.

    I remember hooking 2 tape recorders up to copy the spectrum games, and playing the atari games before that

    Though I had a commodore 64 not a spectrum

    Was very high tech back then

    An but the spectrum had better graphics and more choice lol besides if you were really techno back then you had the amstrad with the built in tape deck and it came a monitor
