Personal Grooming and Hygiene?

I personally am a bit hygiene obsessed before meeting a girl,(As I'm sure everyone else is)

I go to the barbers and get a trim,
do my nose and ears hair myself
cut my nails hands and feet,
I always leave 3-4 days growth before I shave about an hour before leaving to meet, moisturize head to toe after showering,oral hygiene goes without saying before and on arrival, no one wants bad breath,
deodorant and a little bit of aftershave not too much as I wouldn't want to overwhelm and never on my neck as I like a girl to nibble on my neck or rip it out with her teeth if she wants (I'm single so don't need to worry about marks)

BUT, pubic area,
I only give a trim not shave as I use a cut throat razor and wouldn't want to risk it LOL

Is it normal for a guy not to shave all pubic hair? or is it too 1970's porn star?

Any advice would be appreciated (except from the inevitable piss takers, but sure it's all a bit of fun)

If any of the girls could advise from there point of view, or any other genuine tips would be invaluable and much appreciated.

HAHA, Yea I know, I don't use safety razors so bit of a risk shaving anywhere your not used to doing, some of the girls have advised on safety razors if the Veet doesn't work, but Steph has sent my testicles up into my stomach in hiding after her joke, so I'll have another Bailey's n ice n give it a try,

i use a cordless hair groomer from boots (cost about 30 yo-yos) _._
it's near as good as a razor ._. you wanna' make sure you get in around/under your testies' also

i wouldn't and couldn't come to putting a razor blade near that area or wouldn't be into any of those creams

Not completely gone a few hardliners left but probably due to application on my part, no stubble feel and no risk of losing a testical or cut with shaving or shaving rash. About 1/5 of a tube for 9min,only because I was listening to a song on YouTube and let it finish, no burning sensation or discomfort, actually thought it wasn't doing anything until I started to clean it off,
And most importantly no need for any frozen Brussel sprouts up the bum!!

I shave down stairs all the time, & whatever I can't get with the shave I use hair removal like that veet stuff couple peeps were talking about.
You said you use cut throat razors, do you use those & nothing else to shave? What about normal razors? I use normal razors as I'm too use to them, not sure I would use the cut throat razors as I'm afraid I would cut my face off, they're definitely not going anywhere nears my balls.
