Personal Grooming and Hygiene?

I personally am a bit hygiene obsessed before meeting a girl,(As I'm sure everyone else is)

I go to the barbers and get a trim,
do my nose and ears hair myself
cut my nails hands and feet,
I always leave 3-4 days growth before I shave about an hour before leaving to meet, moisturize head to toe after showering,oral hygiene goes without saying before and on arrival, no one wants bad breath,
deodorant and a little bit of aftershave not too much as I wouldn't want to overwhelm and never on my neck as I like a girl to nibble on my neck or rip it out with her teeth if she wants (I'm single so don't need to worry about marks)

BUT, pubic area,
I only give a trim not shave as I use a cut throat razor and wouldn't want to risk it LOL

Is it normal for a guy not to shave all pubic hair? or is it too 1970's porn star?

Any advice would be appreciated (except from the inevitable piss takers, but sure it's all a bit of fun)

If any of the girls could advise from there point of view, or any other genuine tips would be invaluable and much appreciated.

I use mach5 on mine mate and I've never once cunt down there , smooth as a bar of galaxy chocolate everytime

Sounds like I was right to ask the question, so I'm going to have to bite the bullet and give it a go!!!!
But were do you draw the line LOL
I'm not overly hairy but surly once you start shaving it would be a nightmare to blend in, is it just the private area and stop, because I can picture myself up to my elbows trying to blend it in, what about stubble is this another case of let it grow for a while then shave just before?
You do know if I do myself an injury it's on this advice LOL

I bring a toothbrush , toothpaste , deodorant , and aftershave, I completely shave everything the day before, I shower before I leave my place and again when I meet with someone. Then apply all of the aforementioned items plus provided mouthwash, I'd hate to be accused of bad hygiene and wouldn't expect a lady to tolerate it. I've experienced the other side of that coin so all I'll say is present your best self and make an effort.

I've tried NAIR. I don't really like it. It's got a smell to it and I found it a bit messy to use.
