Will be great in the morning presents and santa but by mid afternoon I'll have stood on a dozen bits of.lego and be 2 full to move

Used to be some craic assembling toys after midnight, full of champagne and then trying to sneak them in beside the tree without making a sound, covert ops wouldn’t have had a look in with me, I was like a pissed up ninja back in the day.
Kids all too big now, Santa doesn’t visit, he’s left it all to my Mastercard these days.

A dolls house that's meant to be fully assembled but lacked to say that it came with a 4 page sticker book of ting stickers and tiny furniture is no friend to a drunk man with a bunch of bananas for fingers

I'm the opposite - I'd love to spend a full Christmas at home. I love this time of year - my mother always made it special and I've still held onto that feeling.

I spend a lot of time working and travelling all year, I'm from one part of the country, the missus is from another, and we live in a third place. Since the kids we have santa at home, but head to one or other of the parents on stephens day for a few days, then the other parents for new year, and back home on the 2nd Jan. I go into work and everyone is saying the break is too long! I'm wrecked from not having had a chance to just relax and wish I had another week in my own place.

Covid was our chance and we didn't take it!

As full as my house is at Christmas it will always be empty.

Beer, dinner, beer, whiskey, beer then try find my way to bed 🤣

But really dinner with family and a few friends round after.

Im still not feeling it yet this year. Honestly just looking forward to time off. Been so busy lately.

Sounds like fun, all boy toys here, every-bit as bad but at least I could play with some of them on the day, Jesus there was wild fights over the remote control helicopter until the wife took it off me 😀

Start off enjoying the day but by the time the dinner is over I would love to have house to myself.. meeting up with one of the lovely ladies for a while Christmas night sounds like a great idea.
