Definitely more access to the pits & teams than BBC seem to get despite certain teams saying
they prefered BBC access, McLaren for one, even for me being a McLaren fan.

Used to hate when ITV had it and take a break during the race.
I would say Sky demanded the best access when doing the deal.

ITV's coverage was rubbish.I remember one of the only races uninterrupted was when
Damon Hill won the world championship. They even made a big deal of it saying there would
be no more breaks!!!
Bernie Ecclestone must've made a few more million for himself with the Sky deal.

Yea id say he did. All sports end up going to Sky anyway. Looking at the snooker now that will probably be next.
ITV have a desperate past with sport. I remember Everton vs Liverpool in the cup and they took a break with a minute still to play came back on and Everton had scored. I think they had a couple of mess ups similar to that.
