I dont have a link to it, but there was a recent case in Galway where ladies were found to have been trafficked, had their passports taken off them and told they had to work to pay back the costs of getting them here so maybe that's what kick started this.

It would be naive to think there isn't a dark side to this industry and there arent ladies working under pressure. Good accommodation costs money - is barely half the cost of your advert, and what sort of a human are you to be able to have sex with a lady you feel isn't interested, then whinge about it with leaving a bad review for her.

In fairness to the guards, that's their job. They don't make the rules but their Job is to implement them. The same can be said about them when they do someone for drunk driving, no tax, no insurance anti social behaviour. The list is endless. If I have a few pints and drive home I am running the risk of failing the breathalyzer at a check point. If I visit an escort I am running the risk of getting apprehended by the guards. Same thing. You weight up the pros and cons and decide accordingly
