    my fav ever, Cinema Paradiso, beutiful Italian movie, also Subway(french) and Sands of Iwo Jima (american and surprisingly directed by Clint Eastwood)!!!

    Go on to TG4 thers plenty of subtitled programmes there like Ros na Run and Rasai na Gallaimh. Theres the odd french film too.

    Of recent times it has to be,

    Ong Bak - with Tony Jaa

    Set in Thailand and our Tony gets a bit narked by some bozos nicking a Buddha head. Amazing non-wire stunts and if you practice or are interested in Muay Thai then you will love this.

    the german's have made some truly amazing movies, lives of other (der leber andern) is one of my favourites. but, you should check out the educators too if you liked that one.

    still can't beat the koreans for their unique take on life. Oldboy for example, amazingly fucked up movie
