Going on the pull in Dublin...

I'll be back in Dublin for a night for the first time in a long time soon and my knowledge of the city's nightlife is a little out of date to put it mildly.

So if a presentable gentleman in his late 40s with a little charm wanted to do it the old fashioned way and go out on the pull... what would the best pubs and clubs to hit be? Preferably women around my own age... (unless I end up in Coppers out of late night desperation!)
