As expected, five second penalty for George Russell. Could have been heavy crash in pit-lane.

Sergio Perez in second, under pressure from Charles Leclerc. This is the race for second place points.

    Sergio Perez pits.

Max Verstappen being told to conserve tyres. As often is, tyre strategy all important.

Max Verstappen could be vulnerable if he pits, but going to the end on present tyres is a big ask. Tyres likely to fall off on last ten laps. Fifteen laps to go.

Max Verstappen does not have the tyres to take the chance to help his teammate by slowing down and impeding Charles Leclerc, even if he wanted to.

Six laps to go. Charles Leclerc has second place, in the race and the championship unless his tyres fall of a cliff.
Without Max Verstappen holding Charles Leclerc up, Sergio Perez can not get second.
