NRA have major political sway. The National Guard are a joke.

Look at mass shootings compared to other countries...it is shocking bad in America. Violence is so normal there.

I have travelled all over America and certainly met completely good people...very friendly, but certainly there is something going on with that country that is not normal.

but to win an election you have to win over the majority of the moderates
your own leaning party base won't do it alone
and middle,blue collar america wasn't happy with their lot at the time

100 percent agree mate, it's a melting pot over there , I've spent a month on the West Coast and again met some really nice people but there's something very wrong going on over there .

There was an interesting prof on the radio and he said the tide has turned against the extremist, he reckons people are tired of the hate. He also made a point that dumb guys who are good on camera get elected quicker than smart guys.His example was Ron Reagan who was so dumb he thought South America was one country, but was great delivering sound bites.Clinton who was an intellectual bore and Obama studied him and helped their campaign.
