    Default Top 30

A while back in another thread I posted a "Top 30 Reviewed" table with duplicates and rats removed. This was just a demonstration that such tables are not hard to produce, without any changes to the review system. As a league table, it had at least two defects.
    - The data were slightly out of date even then, and are more so now.
    - Rats and duplicates were removed, but N/A reviews were not. Thanks to Alyssa for making me aware of this.
As I mentioned later on the same thread, I never use such tables myself, but, without too much effort, I could produce a better table, if anyone actually wants one. So I have a few questions.
    1. Do you care? If not then I won't bother.
    2. Should duplicates, i.e. multiple reviews of the same escort by the same reviewer, be ignored?
    3. Should rats be counted?
    4. Should N/A's be counted?
    5. Should negative reviews be counted?
    6. Should neutral reviews be counted?
    7. Should reviews by people with few reviews be counted? If not then how many reviews are needed before the reviews are counted?
    8. Does anyone who isn't on it really care about the "Top 30 Reviewers" table?
    9. Is 30 a good number for these tables?

“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

I think this is a good idea, so here is what I think should be included in the tables:
    No duplicate reviews.
Rats should not be counted as these only distort the data.
As most N/A's deal with a meeting never having taking place, how can you review a person you have never met?
Of course good, bad and neutral reviews must be counted, after all that is the point of this.
Everybody is entitled to post a review, so there should be no bottom limit on the amount of reviews posted.
30 seems like a good starting point for these tables.

To be honest, I'm really not sure what the point of this table is. That's why I posted. The current table at Irish Escort Reviews, Reviews of escorts in Ireland written by Irish escort clients - Escort Ireland tells you who has a lot of reviews. That's all it tells you. They could all be rats. They could all be terrible. They could all be from one person. That's just not useful information.

I don't know who uses that table, but it's probably lazy punters who just want to find someone reliable to visit. For them, counting bad or neutral reviews might be a bad idea.

I know that. That's why I'm offering to bypass Patricia and produce an independent table, perhaps in a blog so I could update it occasionally. But only if there is sufficient interest. So far, I'm not seeing a lot.

    1. Do you care? If not then I won't bother.
Reviews are useful so we should all care.
    2. Should duplicates, i.e. multiple reviews of the same escort by the same reviewer, be ignored? Multiple reviews should be counted but maybe with a reduced scoring system for 2nd, 3rd etc review of same lady.
    3. Should rats be counted?
Rats should have a negative score if not challenged within a specific period of time.
    4. Should N/A's be counted?
They should be included as part of an overall scoring system. I have posted a couple of n/a reviews for information purposes - reliability of the escort in completing agreed appointments.
    5. Should negative reviews be counted?
Negative reviews should be treated in a similar fashion to rats if not challenged by the escort within a specified time.
    6. Should neutral reviews be counted?
Yes, as part of an agreed scoring system
    7. Should reviews by people with few reviews be counted? If not then how many reviews are needed before the reviews are counted?
Everyone has to have a first review. Working out a way to validate all reviews is needed.
    8. Does anyone who isn't on it really care about the "Top 30 Reviewers" table?
A lot of touring escorts are not bothered about reviews but the resident escorts might like to establish a reputation with a high review rating.
    9. Is 30 a good number for these tables?
To keep a table all excort reviews would have to be counted but maybe only the top 30 published.
Its a lot of work reading through the reviews figuring out which are genuine & accurate.
I hope NBT is being paid for his efforts and if you do set something up, that you are rewarded also

No way. If girls don't allow reviews then that's their choice.

Unlike NBT, I'm not actually reading them. What I've done is all automated. Neither of us is being paid. If any escorts feel like rewarding me then please send a pm. I'm sure we can work something out.

In fairness, is it really that hard to go with one more click onto the girl you want and then see for yourself whether the reviews are fake, ratted or genuine or not? Do people really simply look at the number and then make their decision without more investigation? I don't think so.

And even if people simply judge by the number - at least they know the girl is real. And if someone is prepared to go and lodge (picking Patty Baby as an example as she is top of the list - no comment on her from me, but I would like to see her at some time!!) 90 reviews, then the girl and her "manager" deserve the business in my view.

I also think the current system of allowing 3 reviews is excellent. I posted reviews of my fourth visit to Nicky and Eve and both were deleted, but I agree with this system - a single review per person firstly means that the unscrupulous girls can ignore repeat customers and give a below-par performance. It also means that the fake reviews gain more power and prestige as they appear to be more legit. I believe if a girl has multiple reviews (not ratted), I am more likely to see her.

My vote - leave things as they are....

I think your putting too much emphasis on statisitcs and such at the end of the day what does a league table achieve? 90% or more of the sites users probably dont look at these things and i know for sure when im horny i dont find myself running off to consult league tables. I think the trusted review badge was a good step and i usualy only read reviews from names i know. Its pretty simple i want a girl i ring her and fuck her statistics or this other quarterly price thing somone else is doin here does not come into it. No offence intended gordo i just think you could probably do something a little more constructive with your time.

    Default El Gordo.....

I think you should do it. Put it in a blog where people at least have the option of looking at it, and using it to help them make a decision it they wish to use it......

You've obviously put a lot of work into it and you should allow people to see it.....

Well done and keep up the good work..........
