So we are about to come upon probably the toughest budget in a long long time and The Greens bring on 500 extra teachers and have no third level fees????????????????They are retarded.

They should definatly bring in third level fees based on means testing and fuck the 500 teachers.500 more ppl that work half the year and sit on their holes the rest of it???????????????

Anyone with half a brain knows the only people that get fucked by means testing are ordinary PAYE workers. The self employed, doctors, lawyers, accountants and large farmers can all make their income for the relevant years whatever it needs to be to get a full grant while PAYE workers get fucked over thats how it worked before. And those really on an income low enough to qualify for a grant can't afford to go anyway.

Why should third level fees come in if there are no fees for 1st and 2nd level? Its just a little bit prejudiced, honestly they did the same in the uk about 10 years ago and are now talking about abolishing it. Yes we need the other 500 teachers but aren't you forgetting that our taxes pay for that!

Also teachers don't sit on there arses half the year! the majority either work with handicapped kids voluntary in summer months or they teach EFL (English as a foreign language) either here or in other countries, have you thought as well that they might have families and there kids are off when they are, it saves on child minding , summer schools etc.
