George Russell pits for hard tyres. That is him and Lewis Hamilton on hard tyres to run to the end.

Max Verstappen leads again but on medium tyres that may possibly last to the end.

Sergio Perez on mediums close to Lewis Hamilton. Mercedes's gamble is that Red Bull's tyres will go off.

Yuki Tsunoda is hit from behind by Daniel Ricciardo. Very clumsy and noted by stewards. Daniel Ricciardo gets ten second penalty.
Yuki Tsunoda makes it back to pits. No safety car that would have flung the race wide open.
Mercedes still pinning hopes on Red Bull’s tyres going off.

Max Verstappen lead is now twelve seconds. Barring mistakes or mechanical failure or his tyres falling apart, looks like his race. But thirteen laps to go, will his tyres last?

Fernando Alonso has an issue. Was going well but looks like his race may be over.

Nine laps to go. Sergio Perez may be starting to show tyre wear but likely both Red Bulls will go to the end on their tyres.

If Red Bull's tyres had (or do) fall apart, Mercedes strategy will look good. If not, which it look like, it will be another Mercedes poor piece of strategy.

We have a short Virtual Safety Car as Fernando Alonso's engine finally blows up.

Max Verstappen becomes the first F1 driver to win 14 races in a season.
    Lewis Hamilton second.
Sergio Perez third at this home race.

George Russell fourth and gets fastest lap.
