Earlier this year I had a stroke. Not looking for sympathy, I’ve worked hard and I’m doing great. My issue is, at stressful times, parts of my body revert to where they were a few months ago, slow speech carrying myself crooked etc.

As a result the lead up to an appointment with a new lady has turned into one of these stressful occasions. The knock on effect of this is my erections are not to their usual standard. Still works but I don’t enjoy meetings, I’m always thinking this might be the occasion I can’t function. This in turn causes more stress and so the cycle continues.

I can function fine with girls I’ve met before so there’s no issues with me physically. It’s all in my head.

Now my question. Viagra? Can anyone who has used it before provide any feed back. Things like side effects.

Will I be walking around all day with a hard on.
Is sex as good on viagra.
Is it obvious to the lady that you’ve popped a pill.
Do the ladies have any issues with you taking it.
Could I become reliant on it.
How does your body feel when taking it.

I took it as a young fella, in the country I lived in at the time you could just get it in a pharmacy no questions asked. After being on the beer I would struggle to get it up, mucho embarrassing if you've just picked up a girl so I would stick one in my wallet before I went out. I appreciate what your saying and it’s the way I should be thinking. I just really want to feel like my old self for a bit and if a magic pill can sort that for me short term I’d give it a go. I have a fear of relaying on it though.

I’m in my 40s. Lifestyle is good, always has been. Drink and diet is no issue either. Just unlucky I guess, shit happens.

If you function fine without viagra, stay away from it.
I've only one experience myself. Some "mates" thought it would be very funny to spike my food at an age that I definitely didn't need it.

My man fair play to you. I am nearly in my fifties and I am falling apart, dude. And have been refused service because of the extremely big hard-on. My vision turns blue every time I take it. The woman looks like smuffs. I am talking about the good stuff, not the generic stuff which I find to be rubbish. But please be careful with your heart condition. Do consult your Doctor. Although you can get Pfizer Viagra over the counter at boots, please don't.
