Anyone know why this is? Are they making big money elsewhere and then are older/winding down a bit by the time they reach our shores, or generally start in the profession later after having kids or trying other careers? It's obviously a huge generalisation yet it seems to ring true based on the evidence in Ireland at least.

Old is not an age thing is a state of mind. When u feel old then u ARE Old. When I turned 40 I felt too old to wear a nose piercing so I removed it. When u feel too Old to do things then u should stop doing them if u consider yourself too old for those things.
