Love her or hate her, or agree with that type of government model or not, all commentators agree she fulfilled her role well.
I wonder what sort of legacy and comments Charles III will attract?

I know, the royals seem to live for an eternity compared to common folk. Does anyone really care that she is dead, I couldn't care less.

What work did she do. I'm not clued up on the Royals but she never did a day's work in her life. She never lived life like a normal person. She made appearances around the world and ate fine food, her health kept in check by the best of doctors and medicines. She lived in a bubble, she never lived a day in her life.
She never condemned the actions of her armed forces and poloticians here in ireland. She never condemned Andrews criminal actions and there are plenty more examples of her scandalous behaviour. Hiding money overseas to evade tax. And hardly a hard job to do when you have cars, planes, boats and trains at your disposal and at no personal cost. Multiple homes, staff, servants and advisors. The best medical treatment at a moments notice. If I had those resources at my disposal I could live an equally long and privileged life.
I would classify myself as republican as any man, woman or child in Ireland. I have what you could describe as a serious dislike of the separation of this island but today I sympathise with the Queen’s family. She may have been the Queen, the head of state, extremely wealthy and all the rest but she was firstly a mother, then a grandmother and great grandmother.

It's certainly the end of an era. She was a good person in my view, her visit to Ireland really was incredible, especially when she visited the Garden of Remembrance. That was a very moving moment in our history and a healing moment too.

Sporting fans are going to have a boring weekend, everything seems to be getting cancelled!
Sky sports will be fuming, I hope they have insurance!
As a planter from Northern Ireland it's a sad time for many, but I can see how a lot of you in the South and a good majority in the North don't care whats happened to her but to us she was the glue that kept the Union together. Yes she had a privileged upbringing and wanted for nothing but how many of us good do what she did for 70 years, never being able to switch off, never being able to relax and enjoy a weekend off. But sure you all say it wasn't hard work until you live in her shoes then you can judge her.
