Thread: New Law in Spain

    Default New Law in Spain

Spain voted to bring in Nordic model. Is this a socialist/feminist thing or what. Just reading some of the stuff saying the usual stuff like its because 90% of escorts are trafficked etc and making out they are mostly all forced to do it against their will by gangs. How they can just make up lies like this to bring in dangerous laws is not right. When the real reason is that they just want to control what people can do. Also, a lot of older residents don't want escorts in their neighbourhood as they feel it devalues their neighbourhood so the vote for these governments (just the same as older people here say no to new developments in their area).
Of course there are some women that are being forced into it by gangs but it no where near the % the claim, and driving the sex trade underground will do the opposite of helping the people who they claim they want to help. If you push the whole trade underground then you don't know which escorts are being forced and which are doing it by choice. Maybe that is on purpose as it gives the government more leeway to make statements like the women are mostly all forced? They also define trafficking as bring someone across a boarder. They don't mention that it was the person's own choice to go travel to work as a sex worker. A lot of the people that are "forced" into sex work are "forced" by their financial circumstances and they choose sex work to make good money as fast as possible. It might not be the fairy tail dream they had but they choose it over working in minimum wage jobs which cannot help them get out of financial problems.
I really think these governments don't care about helping the vulnerable people at all and just want to push through their agenda. Deamonising men also seems to be the trend lately.

What do other think the reason for this new law is?

I was talking about the law to make the purchase of sex illegal.
However, regarding the link above, I agree with that article insofar as I think a rapist should be charged with rape even if he wasn't physically violent and didn't beat her. That is just common sense.
But it is very dangerous to say a one night stand it is assault if there is no proof of consent. Its basically saying you need to have a letter signed giving consent or have a video giving consent, otherwise you are guilty until proven innocent. It's madness feminist stuff.

Thanks Savannah. That madness. Very dangerous times for men. What do they want, only men in marriages and relationships can have sex (with their partner) without the risk of jail? It makes me depressed thinking about it.

I see myself signing consents so as not to break the moment with paperwork

I saw a documentary on this topic last year sometime. Some towns in Spain along the border with France and Portugal have several sites , too many according to some locals. Certain people have been trying to get them closed down in the short term but ultimately they want to criminalise sex work.

Introducing the Nordic model is a massive step in the wrong direction but then again it hasn’t made much of a difference if any for punters here.

Do the Authorities in Ireland, Scandinavia or Spain or Saudi Arabia for that matter, not realise that this planet is made up of around 50% male humans who unfortunately and thru no fault of their own, have this thing between their legs that is a law, a being unto itself.

How can they try to criminalise the very thing that has catapulted man/woman to the very top of the food chain on earth: the unrelentless desire to procreate which through time has metamorphosed into riding anything that moves?

I said it before, it is all about control, to pretend its there to help but its to control and take away your freedom little by little, exactly same as Nato.
Thats why theyre creating technology so fast, to control and monitor us and do away with cash, we are letting it happen as we are lazy feckers and want it easy and to be owned in a way. They are not on our side

I don't know man but life would be much easier if born like a barbie Ken doll, nothing down below. What drove man to climb everest or build the empire state? What was it that got us to the moon or the ability to communicate to each other through vast distances? It's that juice between your legs that fuels the whole ambition. How can I quell that rush, that desire perpetually
