Was just thinking that. It's nuts at this stage, also on the city centre thread including a lengthy 'review'. For a lady who keeps a low profile I hope this doesn't end badly.

Thanks to the mods the review was deleted.

Most posters who have reviews know the dos & don'ts of punting & treat providers with respect - I noticed that the poster in question does not have any reviews

You are once again on about your obsession with punters writing reviews? I don't think this is healthy. It has nothing to do with "most posters' on here. Plenty of newbies seeking help. Misleading them about having to write reviews to be allowed on here - or other such fake rules puts them off. They leave and go elsewhere. I have been told this by punters because of the attitude on here at times.

It also looks like a little elite clique running the show on here. We have had all this nonsense before.

In my view there is no requirement to write any reviews to be "in the gang" or "one of the good guys" or whatever. Many reviews mean nothing I find. Pointless. Gushing. Sometimes just giant ego massaging in reality. Misleading impressions about a provider too at times.

Also any requirements or obligation to swap tips or info in exchange is totally false as far as I am concerned.

PM is where the detailed accounts can go I find.

Other than that leave it to the Mods to enforce the rules.

I wouldn't disagree with any of what you say, be it 'reviews', pseudo-moderators etc. The social nuances of the forum are not lost on me at all.

However, in this case things were getting very out of hand. This is a lady who has been around for 10+ years to my knowledge (I've visited twice) and keeps a low profile, and does not advertise here and allow reviews. The poster here essentially gave a blow by blow review in the middle of a thread which on top of an already ridiculous amount of attention-drawing requests for her "details" was a bit much.

And I say that as someone who would prefer a review which does give decent detail as distinct from these patronising "please respect her" (as if we weren't going to and will now suddenly by swayed by the advice of the reviewer) reviews which of say more about the reviewer than the provider reviewed.

But this is a lady who does not advertise here and as such is not a candidate for a review. There is a greater sensitivity required on a public forum than was shown in this case.

No problem with what you say in principle - but - just inform the official Mods on this EI site and leave it to them to deal with it.

That's what I do.

Otherwise we get a lot of attention seekers on here writing about that same so called review endlessly. Then the provider mentioned then gets even more attention!
