Review Advice?

Very confused by a recent virtual encounter. Arranged a virtual encounter with a well reviewed advertiser on this site and agreed a price for 15 minutes. Sent the money over and the session began. After 5 minutes it ended abruptly and she said she was having issues with her phone. That was fair enough I thought and she said she was going to get it fixed then so I said i'd get in touch in a few hours.

Did that and she responded saying she had another issue and wasn't available at that moment. I thought fair enough, these things happen. Got in touch with her later on and got no reply. Said it wasn't meant to be that day, went to bed etc. Tried to get in touch today then and have been ignored, although the messages have being read. I don't like to leave a negative review but can't help but feel i'm being taken for a ride now and that's the end of my money even though I didn't receive the service? I am confused though because she has good reviews and seemed nice on the phone.

Does anyone have any views on this, it's the lack of reply today that has me confused to be honest.

Give her one more day. If no response leave and honest and fair review.

That's really bad service. Nobody should be treated like that. You paid in full up front. Imagine paying for a three course meal in a restaurant & only getting the starter?! Do an honest and fair review.

There is no rush to leave a review, and she may well be telling the truth about phone problems. In my experience, girls who allow reviews are honest, and genuinely want clients to feel they got value, but she may be an exception.

I would leave it a week or so to give her a chance to make things right. If she has not done anything by then she certainly deserves to be called out, and a review is the right way to go about it.

I might be wrong but I think you only have 1 week after a meeting/virtual service to leave a review, any longer than that and review won't be posted.

I believe that 3 weeks is the cutoff.

@OP - the lack of a reply is the reply imo. Your gut is already telling you this.

I think you can forget about getting the remaining 10 minutes of your appointment and you're better off writing it off. If she was concerned about it she would have sorted it quickly or at least replied to you so from her perspective she's got the client's money and she thinks she's provided a service. She also knows that your easy-going which tells her you're not going to make much fuss.

Whether it's worth your while to write a review or not is totally up to you.
