Most awkward location entry/exit

Terrible threat title, this isn't about holes!

I saw an escort recently who I've seen previously, and I was pretty surprised by her method of allowing access to the apartment this time around.

I'm walking up the street while on the phone to her, getting directions to find the door, and then told to "look under X, there is a key, let yourself in and come up to the 3rd floor". Lots of faffing about trying to find what she was talking about, because your head isn't exactly sharpest with the excitement of a meet, making it a pretty uncomfortable experience. Thankfully a quiet enough street...

But it got worse. After the meet, I was asked to drop the key back where I found it. Ok, shouldn't be too bad, despite me questioning the safety of it all. But as I walk out, there's at least 3 people hanging around outside, one of which I'm pretty sure is the next punter! All clearly watching me dropping the key back where I found it.

Bizarre, off-putting, and I can't imagine particularly safe. I might understand if the escort had a view of the key-drop area from a window, but she doesn't.

I've had a key dropped from a window by an escort before, that felt more natural, and of course I wasn't asked to put it back afterwards, I think that's what made it most awkward. Any similar situations?

A few years ago I visited a lady a couple of times. Each time I was told to wait at the apartment block door and her friend would be down to let me in and tell me what floor and apartment to go to. Each time it was the same friend who came down let me in tell me the same info the then went off towards the shops. I always thought that was a little strange

Probably the worst was where lads were doing road works right at the entrance on a busy street...they were actually just standing around. They were there one hour later too...they probably thought nothing of it, but awkward enough. Nothing worse than loiterers just hanging around. I also hate when just as you arrive at a door to be buzzed in people just suddenly appear...it happens too regularly to me, but still those fucking loiterers are the pits!

Best of all was when visiting a hotel in town center.
No way I was gonna walk in the main door( half the town knows me!)
I went to the back door, used the service entrance for deliveries, and I made my way to her room!!

Haaaaa the life of a punter, no easy you know....

I think nearly every post on this thread will reconfirm my decision to limit my visit to hotels, a stroll through the foyer, maybe a swift drink as I wait for the room text, an apartment mystery hunt is not for me, hotels just make the whole experience feel classier in my opinion.

Well, I worked in hotels and hospitality sector for a decade ,in a small town, chances are I'm gonna bump into a front house staff or back room staff member that I know, or knows me....no thanks, I pass.
Maybe in another city far away, where no one know me.

The hotel I worked last was very far from town, so no suitable for escorts.
The hotels only care in summer when is busy, in winter is low season, so they turn a blind eye.
Everyone knows everything in a small town bro.

On another occasion I was at a wedding at a hotel I used to work before,and I spotted a single guy, and the missus was about 20 years younger and defo, she was an escort, he was pissed an acting a bit silly, the girl was non national, so, hard to missed. They were staying in the hotel as guests though.
