Cool Things you appreciate about your country when traveling

I love to travel, possibly one of my favorite things to do... however, there are countries I have been to that make me love the country I live in more...
For example, the food, the dinner time, the weather....

Is it the same for you?
What do you miss about your country when you are in another one?

To be honest the only thing I miss from my country when I,m in another one is my parents. I dont miss anything else. I dont miss 40 plus degrees in summer, I dont miss small salaries and injustice and corruption from my country, I dont miss the arrogance, the grumpy faces and the forever unhappy people, the screaming in traffic and the chaotic driving, I dont miss the stupidity. I just read on fb a comment an arrogant man who probably never visited Ireland was posting a comment saying ''Ireland , a semi-deserted island where people raise sheep and rams''-such an ARROGANCE typical for my people. The main reason we dont evolve. .I heard many times this phrase ab my country and I always agreed with :'' Beautiful country ,pity that it is inhabited''

Irish weather is shite , everything is ridiculously expensive but at least you won't be left to die if you can't afford medical treatment and it's a relatively safe country too.

For me it is more about the continent or friendly oddity of different social attitudes.

    I adore the Middle East.

Jordan being my go to place but Bolivia is bonkers and always smile when I go to La Paz.
