I would classify this as attempted murder. 3 years for attempted to murder someone? Never mind is an escort. He attacked someone putting her life in danger!. Laws are to soft here. IN my country u get 3 years only if u steal a chicken from someone backyard !

its not acceptable, at least 10 years he should have got and that woman posing as an escort too and who took out a gun and ordered a client to pay up or be shot should got 10 years too and an extra 2 years for stealing his bicycle, I blame the drugs, theyre so pumped up on the stuff and need their next fix at any cost

Physical maybe she is ok but mentally... she will never forget . When someone attack you with a knife and u have cuts on your hand , when u have been so close to die u never forget. Will hunt u long long time. I know few girls who stopped working and had therapy for years to can have a normal life after this. And clients get angry when I ask them referenceswe live in a crazy world and people are more and more dangerous . And lets face it we are easy prey for them... inviting in your house a complete stranger never been safe , now ..is worse... that why dear guys dont get cross when they ask references. is not because we are paranoiac but look what happen..and this is not an isolated case...

This country is a joke . Even if he murdered the poor woman he'd probably only serve 10 years.

For all the talk of protecting women in vulnerable situations, this lad should have got a way higher sentence and probably would have if the lady wasn't an escort.
And what was that bullshyza about him bringing the knives but not intending to cause harm!
