Why did it look odd and out of place?
Whats wrong with a 40 yr old dressing like a 19 yr old if they are still in good shape.
Maybe you are too conservative.
We only have one life and we should live for today.

Maybe I am too conservative but u have to admit what i have said would be
seen as the general perception be it right or wrong.As for the dress thing if
a 40 yr old guy started dressing like his teenage son he would be considered
an idiot not alone by his own peers but also by his sons friends

I don't have any tatoos, and have no real desire to ever get one, and am probably fairly conservative myself. I'm not saying that the general perception is right or wrong - it's all about opinion and attitude.

I agree that for the majority of 40 something plus people(male & female) trying to dress and act like a 20 something is futile and would look ridiculous. But there are people that can do it (I'm not one that's for sure) as I know a father and son that dress pretty similar and it doesn't look odd or stupid.

Maybe I will go and get a couple of tatoos tomorrow and break free of the conservatism.

On the other, its probably best to wait until I sober up.
